5th Ingenieurinnen-Sommeruni
Dear visitors!
Ingenieurinnen-Sommeruni – the 5th international summer university for women students and professionals in engineering and technology will be organized by University of Bremen in Germany from August 19 to 30, 2013.
We cordially invite women students of all disciplines, levels and different types of institutions of higher education as well as all women interested in engineering and women professionals from all over the world!
You will experience two weeks of professional studies and establish a network with women having manifold backgrounds in a friendly and stimulating environment at the University of Bremen. Courses will be taught in English and German.
The opening will take place on Monday, 19th August 2013 at 5 pm.
The Ingenieurinnen-Sommeruni combines courses in the following fields:
- Basic Methods
- Material Flow and New Materials
- Product Development and Quality Management
- Micro Electronics
- Robotics and Technical Networks
- Interdisciplinary Technology
- Writing Skills
- Professional Skills
- Networking
- Field Trips
You will find courses with one-week and half-a-week length, as well as short workshops. There are specific courses for student beginners as well as for advanced students and for practitioners who wish to get further education on a current academic level.
The career fair JobForum from both summer universities, Ingenieurinnen-Sommeruni and Informatica Feminale, with international companies and talks from recuiting officers will be on August 28, 2013 from 2 pm – 7 pm.
We invite you to the networking party with current participants and alumni as well as lecturers on Saturday, 24th August at the guesthouse Teerhof of Bremen University.
Students and unemployed are charged a one-time fee of 35 Euro for a participation of two weeks. Employed women pay a fee of 35 Euro (plus VAT) a day. Travel scholarships are available.
